I saw this story today.
They mention that Magna is under contract to build 50,000 Oceans in 2023, and Henrik says that he believes they can triple that in 2024.
This is the first time I have heard this detail about 50k.
Does this mean that this number is set in stone for 2023, or could they increase it?
I wonder what the contract is for Nov+Dec 2022? Is that the 5k per month number that has been floating around, for a total of 10k for 2022? Or was that 1k, for a total of 2000.
Also, how many days is the factory open in December? Maybe only 1/2 the month?
Interesting stuff.

Henrik advised that the production could start a bit earlier but it will be not at full capacity, I believe. The production level capacity will depend on how much reservation in the bucket. Henrik expect to get 80,000 reservations at the end of the year, if so they will check with the subcontractors to increase the volume. We should get an update of the reservation numbers next week at the financial results quarter.

43% of orders are Ocean/Extreme
That places me somewhere around 10,105 in the list
One manufactured first, then Extreme

production begins 11/17
5k built per month until late 2023, then ramping up to 7,500 per month.

based upon 5k run rate, just under 167 Oceans per day.
2,333 Ones roll off assembly line November
Middle of December, total 5k of One’s concluded
By end of December, 7,500 cumulative oceans manufactured.

This run rate means they will produce my Extreme mid January.
No data that I have seen on shipping times. I’m guessing 30 days from Graz Austria to San Diego. Just a guess.

still a long time out, but the data points at least give me an idea on timing.

come November, should have a good estimate of how far off I was.

5K run rate mean 250 per day but I don't believe they will be at that level in beginning it could take two or three months to get it.

I agree with you. I don't think they'll be working (7) days a week, but maybe. Also, does anyone know what the plants holiday schedule is? I mean we do have Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's right after SOP. If not at the factory, surely this is going to be having affects on other aspects in regards to shipping completed cars, receiving parts, etc. in that time.

Probably right on not working weekends. I haven’t seen anything published. 5,000/20 working days good enough as any.

would love to know what is the start run rate, and how quickly they ramp up. Giving us a date for manufacturing the 5,000 Ones would be helpful.

10/31 Fisker has indicated providing lead times on reservations. We have that date To look forward to.

I believe that to be best case scenario as any supply shortages or production issues will knock that down even further. I really want them to make more. I have reserved an Ultra and am about 30,000 in line. I'm really wondering if I'll even see mine in 2023.

Also keep in mind that Magna factory is unionized.
You should not tell that you reserved the Ultra, you just reserved the model Ocean and you have probably configure the Ultra, as I did, hopefully the firm order will arrive soon!

Just to remind everyone, when you receive your Ocean isn't on a first reserved basis. First the 5,000 Ones will be built, then the Extreme. After that will be the lower 2 versions. I'm planning on the Extreme and reserved sometime last month, so hopefully I'll be breaking up my street of white/gray/black cars by this time next year.
