So how does this work? Are these folks getting their place back in line or just queuing up in the very back? Asking for a friend who was in line at 46k but was able to jump up with a firm Ultra order last week

No way to be sure but they are probably not opening these up for everyone. They would have 1000's more Ultras in a day if they did. This is probably a case-by-case basis. So either way, it will have very little impact on the queue.

Who knows. I'm a Nov 30, 2019 reservation and I didn't get notified on this. Like how most of these items are being handled, it's a clusterf*^k!

Damn ....too little to late. I already cancelled my order. That sucks.☹

It's too late. The new law is already in effect as of this morning at 12:01 AM - that is if Biden signs the bill any time today, which seems to be what is going to happen. If Biden postpones signing the bill until tomorrow, then there is still time until 12:01 AM tomorrow.

You are correct and CONFIRMED by the IRS guidance. "before August 16, 2022, but do not take possession of the vehicle until on or after August 16, 2022"

Anyway no matter the rush Fisker will consider the reservation # in the queue for production planning and delivery.

I mean I would also pre-order my Ultra if they let me. But currently I see mine already shipping on the OCEAN to the US in 2023

The reservation of the Ultra is only for the USA because of the new tax credit bill. You will be able to order your Ultra in January 2023 for delivery during the same year. We all hope that Henrik will follow the reservation list to the letter for at least the first 40,000.

Yes, understood. But who says that those thousands of Ultras are not delivered first, just because they are reserved AND pre-paid. No matter where you stand in reservation list.
