I have been waiting to configure my Ocean until the new colors come out in 2023, but then it hit me...we don't know in 2023 there will be 14 total colors. We do know 7 new colors are coming, but what if some of the current colors are going away as first production runs only?

It does seem odd Fisker is offering 14 colors, but maybe he can by using Magna. I was wondering if anyone else suspects or knows for sure?

While I don't have proof, everything indicates all 14 colors will be available in 2023. The expense of setting up six colors only to discontinue them two months later doesn't make sense. Plus, these are basic colors, white, black, gray, etc. Big Sur Blue will probably be the headlining color.

Exactly this. I'm pretty sure Fisker has signed a contract with Magna for 'x' number of years or 'x' amount of paint. It wouldn't help Fisker reach economies of scale to offer a certain set of colors for one year and then just dump them all a year later.
