I have seen enough. I guess the first norwegian location will be built in Vestby,
not far from Oslo. The staff in Norway starts Juli 1.

Just received an e-mail from Fisker stating that the first wave will be during the second half of June for Europe and that they will communicate estimated delivery dates starting tomorrow. Sound good and exciting

Mr. Fisker delivered himself Oceans Ones to Copenhagen and Munich.
Are there Fisker dealers/service centers in those countries? Because just like for the USA, where do you go to service these delivered Fisker vehicles?????

You don't go anywhere, they come pick it up from you.

I'm not talking about getting the vehicle, I'm talking about after you own it. Warranty items, oil changes, service stuff. etc

okay, so if they come pick it up, exactly WHERE do they take it back to , to get serviced? again, there's a Fisker service center? where? I haven't heard of Fisker mobile service. have they stated who will be doing service in the USA and for countries outside of the US?

They take it where they need to take it depending on what needs to be done. They have discussed mobile service multiple times (as well as diagnosing OTA). Depending on the issue it will either be outsourced or they will take it to one of their own centers. Partners they have announced (not all inclusive, just the ones I remember off the top of my head) include Bridgestone, Mekonomen, Cox Automotive and Rivus.

so in other words NO, they don't have service centers and no one knows where their Ocean would go for service. check

pretty weird for Fisker to deliver a couple cars already with NO service centers designated yet....

The service centers in Copenhagen & Vienna are open already. Check. Stockholmes is about to open (if not open already). Check. Fisker is expecting over 20 locations in Europe and U.S. by year end. Check.

Not sure why the addresses matter to you so much?

Just trying to help with a possible alternative solution to what I remember Tesla doing in my dumpster fire of a town here some years ago. My wife’s niece was going out with a guy who was a Tesla mechanic. This was like at least 6 years ago, I don’t remember. But when people had a Tesla problem, they took it to a location where he would show up and work on it. I don’t remember what the business was or what it was named, but I remember him saying it was a specialty shop that did custom communications equipment and installations mainly for police cars.

So in that case maybe Tesla sought out specialty shops that had smart people who could handle certain types of work or could handle certain types of instructions better than someone else. I could certainly see in bigger cities where you’re going to sell lots of cars, a big name business so they could network a knowledge base across their stores. In smaller communities I don’t see anything wrong with a certain singular business being the go to place. I certainly wouldn’t have a problem with that sort of scenario as long as I got the service I needed or problem solved.

A good mechanic just needs a place, roof and tools. Just like a dog groomer or hairdresser just needs a table or chair. Hopefully that guy will have a service knowledge base from Fisker and maybe a certain specialty analyzer. I remember Jag has their own handheld analyzer and it’s about five grand, or at least that’s what my Jag mechanic told me. 🤑 Most likely most all manufacturers have their own proprietary tools and analyzers I would think.

Service Centers aren't customer facing. What's the issue here exactly? Why do you need to know where the car is going? Fisker is picking up the car and doing what needs to be done. I don't understand what the problem is here.

This person posted that they had to sign an NDA after their second interview for a mechanic position at Fisker. I'm sure they have proprietary hardware/software.

I mean you can save faith for them all you want. They can do this now because they have just delivered 2 cars,to 2 special people...

Clearly Fisker will not be picking up all cars that need service in the USA (when they eventually deliver all Oceans and then hopefully extremes). Its not hard to pick up 2 cars. A bit harder to pick up thousands.......

and I know I'm no where near the only one that wonders about how/where the Fisker vehicles will be serviced.
