1. I am somewhere around 32500 in line. What is a realistic time frame to obtain the Ultra Model? Anything I need to do?
2. Can I get the Sea Grass color?
3. I have a Tesla charger at home for my model 3. Will I need to change it to charge the Fisker?
4. Any word yet on options/upgrades available for the Ultra Model (interested in winter package and upgraded sound system)?

Thanks in advance.

1. If you've already placed your firm order, and with Ultra production starting Q4 next year, I am going say you can expect the Ultra model late 2023 or 2024+.
2. Sea Grass will be available as of summer next year from what we have been told.
3. Nope. All you need is a Tesla to CCS Adapter like this: Tesla to J1772 Adapter 48A — Lectron EV (ev-lectron.com)
4. Winter package, ADAS Package, Premium Package and a couple others have been confirmed. We already know what the Winter Package will have as that has been released in the Press Kit on 2/28. (Check out the Ocean Orders forum and you'll see it pinned). Not sure the sound system will be upgradable but it's anyone's guess at the moment.

Welcome to the forums!

FEB 23 2022
This was the date I placed my reservation and sent $250. I assume that puts me somewhere in the mid 30,000 in terms of orders placed. Interested in the Ultra model.

Anything else I need to do? or just sit tight and wait?

Also, what tax credits are in effect?
Oh boy, I suppose you missed the attempt to get people qualified for the tax credit? That was also an opportunity to lock in an Ultra or Sport order at the current pricing. Considering what seems to be the overwhelming desire for those trims and the fact that they will be produced in lower quantities, it is hard to answer these questions for you.

Henrik has stated that they are currently "sold out" of Ultras and Sports in the US for 2023. You may have to way until early 2023 for orders to open back up again (converting reservations to orders). We will probably know a bit more about availability in November or so. If they do open Ultra orders back up, you need to stay vigilant and not miss the window.

I don't recall ever being offered the opportunity to place an actual order.....?

Yes it was an attempt to create a firm order so that we can qualify for the tax credit. The side-effect was that it locks in the price for us and puts us in line for production (though we do not know the details around what that means exactly). They have stated that only Extremes are not sold out for 2023 in the US, though they are trying to expand production with Magna for late 2023/2024.

Well you can always cross your fingers and hope that a good many of those with reservations for the Ultra will get ants in their pants and jump on something else and open a spot a we all move up. If enough of those do that... we could conceivably make the '23 tax deal. Just take a gander at how many people have been in "line" since 2019 or so and they are sick of the waiting. Sometimes at the last minute when you jump - you miss the proverbial boat.

The transitional provision does not have a '23 deadline so doesn't make a difference if the car is delivered in 2023 or 2024, however, you need to have a binding order prior to 8/16 in order to get grandfathered into the tax credit; if you do not have a binding order, you will not be eligible for the tax credit regardless of when you get delivery.
