Pretty sure that is with the same battery pack as the Hummer though. They aren't beating on the efficiency drum with that one lol.
Don’t think so - I think you can order a W/T for yourself if you dig that vinyl interior feelThe WT is only for fleet customers, correct?
But then you can clean the interior with a hose!Don’t think so - I think you can order a W/T for yourself if you dig that vinyl interior feel![]()
Well, they have a point - if you’re actually doing pickup things (towing and hauling) efficiency is irrelevant… doesn’t matter how light or aerodynamic the truck is if it’s town 10,000 pounds of box trailer. So big battery is the only way… The Cybertruck has been revealed to have only 100kWh battery, which means it won’t be able to tow a big trailer more than 100 miles. So, it’s only target audience is people that think it looks cool but don’t actually do truck things. (To be fair, that does account for a lot of pickup truck buyers in real life, but they all think they’re going to do truck things.)GM being all GM’y again. They refuse to entertain true efficiency because they are terrified they will alienate their meat and potatoes customers to ford or chrysler.
So, jam a giant assed super slow charging battery pack into a 7000lb box and brag about being an EV company.
I’ll give Tesla props for that ugly cybertruck- at least they are thinking outside the box and exploring efficiency. GM? Not so much.
And to be fair, is the Fisker Alaska comes to fruition, that's what I'd expect it to be - something like the Hy7undai Santa Cruz or those Ford Explorer pick-ups from the 00s.The Cybertruck has been revealed to have only 100kWh battery, which means it won’t be able to tow a big trailer more than 100 miles. Well said.
