I thought extreme customers would be allowed to order a day after the old new configurator was released. That was the time frame Fisker gave.

How come no one talks about it .. or are only certain people allowed to order the extreme based on position on the qué?

They said orders would open Nov. 18th but I think I read somewhere that it's now January? I'll go back and see if I can find it.

I think this is accurate. Got it from Fisker

• November 17, 2022 - Start of Fisker Ocean production (Fisker Ocean One trim, no longer available)
• Mid January 2023 - Fisker Ocean Extreme pre-orders open
• Q1 2023 - Fisker Ocean Ultra and Sport pre-orders open (if in the United States, for 2024 delivery)
• June 2023 - Fisker Ocean Extreme production starts
• Q3 2023 - Fisker Ocean Ultra production starts
• Late-2023 - Fisker Ocean Sport production starts (initially in modest volumes, higher volume in 2024)

I read an article mentioning that the first Ocean One for the USA will be delivered in February but they don't say how many.
Fisker is planning on 300 in Q1 2023. My understanding is that they are starting production now, but need to finalize various paperwork with regulators over the next few months before beginning deliveries. Q2 they plan on 8k cars, then 15k in Q3 and ~20k in Q4 to get to 42k on the year. They've also said (I think) that they have a stretch goal of 50k on the year. ... that would mean most Ones would get delivered in spring, 2023.

There's only 5000 Ocean One's total (globally) correct? 🌎

Not sure if they ever stated how many were United States bound vs everywhere else, but that would be interesting...

By the timeline if it holds, all the One's could be built by April or May 2023. 🤞

Yessir. Only 5,000 One's worldwide. The bulk of the One orders seem to be March lock dates so I'm assuming they're going to be part part of the second batch of Oceans being built.

I don't recall seeing the timing of Extreme pre-orders starting mid January and Extreme production starting in June. Just curious, where did you see Fisker release this?

Here is the full text. Dated November 22. Who knows if it's the final word but probably the plan as of now.

Thank you for contacting Fisker.
As reservations are not tied to any trim level or configuration, you may make a reservation for a Fisker Ocean at any time. You will be able to officially lock-in a Fisker Ocean Ultra when pre-orders for that model open during Q1 of 2023; Fisker will notify you via email when your reservation becomes eligible to do so. Please keep a sharp eye on your email inbox (including your spam) for emails from Fisker in regard to pre-orders in the near future.
Please refer to the timeline of upcoming key dates below:

I heard it was around 3500 targeted to US buyers.
Baffles the mind!
Since HF has stated, on many occasions, that Fisker Inc wants to roll out
the Ocean ONE all over the world to create international excitement,
Then a more realistic distribution would be 45/45/10 (US/EU/ROW)
or 2250 for America, 2250 for Europe and 500 for Rest of World (200 for Canada)

My personal thoughts is that Fisker is seeing softer demand
for the Extreme than they had planned for.
@Frank Blissett
The only time Fisker Inc voiced their internal Reservations,
the consumer breakdown results were as follows:
ONE/Extreme : 43%
Ultra Model : 38%
Sport Model : 19%
_
All Oceans : 100%

I this Fisker knows the US is going to be its largest market.

I'll clarify that the idea that Fisker is running behind their projections for interest in the Extreme is a wild guess on my part. Just a gut feeling. ... I think one of the complications affecting the split of USA vs EU vs ROW was the change in federal tax credits in the USA. It caused Fisker to bump up their timing for opening orders, while changing the risk/benefit for Americans to order ASAP when orders were briefly open.

I seriously doubt your assertion.
Europe is a MUCH larger BEV market than the USA.
I believe Europe is now reaching 16% of new car sales
versus 5.2 % in the US.
Anecdotally, Fisker Inc has been prioritizing the European Market over the
American Market with its Fisker Ocean exposure

Thanks for passing this on! This is another reason why this Forum is so valuable, especially when the details being released by Fisker are so few and far between.

China and the US are the global SUV sales leaders by far. 🌏

EV leading countries are a different story, but even mid-sized SUV's like the Ocean I think are just too big for the majority of European owners, at least historically. 🤷‍♂️
