Fisker iOS App Updated to Version 3.0

The Fisker App was updated today to version 3.0 and it's improved in every regard. No more having to login over and over again. Animations are smooth and navigation is pretty straight forward.

Huge improvement.

P.S. If you have a bug that doesn't let you login after updating, uninstall the app and then reinstall and it will fix the problem.

This may be experienced speculation, but it appears this deserves to be a major version change because it uses a new back end … presumably to support the new features. I’m sure they’ve moved to a new API endpoint so that’s why everyone needs to get off the old app versions because they’re shutting down the old API.

Maybe they prepare it for the "Remote Control" of the car, like heating, Battery and so on...

More iOS users in US. More Android users in rest of world. I wonder if they will keep Android users happy if they keep releasing app features only on iOS.

I have uninstalled fisker app for the time being.
I am not sure what the app is storing but it was using up 1GB of storage. I can understand it using the storage as cache to load the app, but the app is unstable, slow and still buggy. The app really needs quite a bit of optimization.
I will use the less buggy web version till my car hits production time.

A few weeks ago, I noticed that I could select the One trim in the app. Now it looks like the One trim is locked because I can't change it. Maybe I'll get a One now? :unsure:

As someone who made that mistake I’d urge you not to do the same. You then get stuck and a month later my reservation is still not restored. They need to put a caution sign in front of that rabbit hole.
