Hello... I know that Fisker mentions they don't allow reservation transfers.
But, I am still wondering if you able to trasfer your Fisker Ocean one reservation?
Or is there a form to know if anyone would be interested to take over my reservation?

Only way is to buy it and sell it to another party. Any attempt at transferring reservation will result in being bumped to back of queue and possibly forfeiting deposit.

I would wonder if you could declare a $0 sale on the title transfer. That may trigger some questions from your state's DMV. ... Would be less risky to just resell it immediately for your actual costs and the buyer eat the extra sales tax & fees.

I am surprised as to why they care about reservation transfers. People change minds. If someone else is interested in the same configuration then what is the harm in the transfer. This doesn't makes any sense to me.

As soon as you open up transferring reservations, you open up a market for people's place in line. Its possible they don't want to piss people off who have been waiting for years just so others can jump the queue. Or it could be they just don't want to expel the resources to track it all.

I checked Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, etc, and nobody allows reservation/order transfers. It seems to be industry standard. The whole nasty issue of scalping can rear its head.

1) My order is for ocean one - so only 5K of them. Almost all reservations are made in a sort window of time.
2) Scalping can be addressed by making the company (Fisker) to be the mediator... they know they have 50K reservations.
So, they can easily pass on the reservation to anyone with same config in the 50k+ people waiting.
If not, offer a refund (as my config is not frozen yet). It doesn't have to be complete refund. Could be a small fine for the inconvenience.
But, not 5K.

1. The 5K is the price you paid for the exceptional value offered with the One. The deal was it was non-refundable. If you secure the vehicle, the value added features should offset the risk.
2. As I stated, Fisker probably doesn't want to assign resources for people wanting to switch reservation.
3. Fisker is producing and shipping these vehicles in batches and sending them all over the world. Last thing they probably want is to make decisions on say shipping 300 vehicles to particular locations in the states only to have a dozen of them cancel their reservations and have to be assigned to others.

Yep. Plus, collecting the $5k won’t hurt their bottom line either. TBH, there have been a few moments the past 4 months that i would have been tempted to cancel if the $5k was refundable, or at least mostly refundable. Glad it isn’t as it is keeping me moving forward on the EV path i decided to take 2 years ago.
Damn the torpedoes (and crazy ass grid pattern reflections) , full speed ahead!
