You have taken the plunge and actually put down a $250 US deposit to reserve very own Ocean
Now, let's see what current vehicle you will be replacing with the Fisker Ocean

I've set up a poll for you responses.

Hurray, I just voted!
My Fisker Ocean will replace my wife's Volvo C30
which runs a 2.5 litre 5 cylinder gasoline engine
Will likely replace my Polestar 2 by the time it’s produced and delivered :)
Well, I’m taking delivery of a Model Y shortly or maybe not given the unpredictability of Tesla’s delivery dates. But I digress. So for me, it might replace my ’08 Tundra…. It’s the tow vehicle for my RV which I’m trying to sell. I’ll make ya a smoking deal if interested And I’ll throw in the low mileage Tundra for $10 extra. If the RV sells the Tundra is going to find a new home. Probably go with one car until the Fisker is available. Now…. Depending on the experience with the Y it might replace the Y too or we’ll have two EV’s. I really want a a small electric pick-up…. Read Tacoma or Colorado but that could be years out. One way or another as soon as we sell the RV we will be an EV only household
Fisker Ocean will replace my Mercedes Benz GLA 2017. My wife has already an EV, Smart Electric, and it is really pleasant so imagine with the Ocean it's will be Funtastic !!!:p
@SFNMJack , congrats on reserving the Ocean!
Tundra, Tundra, so long goodbye until we NOT meet again!
Methinks, you will miss the petrol station visits! ;-)

@Baker, you're upgrading from your Merc!
Glad to see you will also be a TWO ev household.
Ultimately I will be replacing a 2016 Ford Edge.
@Jock Mahoney,
Welcome to the Fisker world!

Let's compare the Edge/Ocean dimensions
Ford Edge: 4,778 mm L x 1,928 mm W x 1,742 mm H
Fisker Ocean: 4,640 mm L x 1,930 mm W x 1,615 mm H

These two are very comparable size-wise!
@Blu Angel those are the pre-production model dimensions.
The last production-intent model seems to have different sizes looking at the press kit:
4775 mm L x 1994,5 mm W x 1631 mm H

@diesel701 ,

I stand corrected!
Good catch....I should have known better

So Fisker Ocean is 3 mm shorter, 66.5 mm wider & 111 mm lower than Ford Edge

Yes but my lease on the MB will end in Dec. 2022 so I think to buy the MB and will sale it when I will get my Ocean :)
Hello everyone,

I just placed the reservation as a Christmas gift to myself ;). The ocean will replace my Audi A6 Diesel, which I love but really is getting outdated in many ways. I live in Germany by the way, really glad I found this forum since there is not much information to find yet.

Congrats @Dentino
You've been very good to yourself this Christmas!
You should be able to see the real live in-person Fisker when the retail Experience Centre opens in Munich, Germany

Currently driving a BMW M235i Convertible. Love the car - don't love the 15-16 MPG it gets around town. Plus I'm kind of over BMW. This is my 3rd BMW - All have been great, but I'm just not in love with them.

I've loved the Z8 for a long time. But you're right - I'm not a fan of the new GAPEING MAW of a front end they're designing in to the new BMWs. Love Henrik's designs.

It was that, and the company ethos, that has drawn me to Fisker.

YES, I whole-heartily agree with Henrik Fisker ESG goals.....

"Fisker boasts the Ocean as the most sustainable SUV on Earth, with the use of high-grade upholstery and carpets made with recycled materials, showing just how a circular economy can contribute to luxury products. Many of the fabrics use recycled plastic, rubber, old t-shirts and abandoned fishing nets—hence the company appropriately naming the car ‘Ocean’.

Here's the link to the Ocean sustainability.
I'll be really interested to hear more about Fisker's battery recycling strategy too. The fact that some car makers didn't even have a strategy put me off them completely.
