Someone from the Fisker Discord server was old that the front driver display is going to be bigger. 17" INSTEAD OF 10"!!!Great pic, we just need one a little less tight so we can get a good perspective of the cockpit and 17” screen.
I like the way the dash has multiple levels to the left of the wheel near the air vents- and those vents look pretty substantial which is a great thing.
Good it will be better display to get the map on.Someone from the Fisker Discord server was old that the front driver display is going to be bigger. 17" INSTEAD OF 10"!!!
Interesting though: it does not look like that will fit with the current layout in the dash contour, without being off center anyway. So I would assume they would have to get a new dash component there with a longer contour. If Magna can do that this late in the game, it really speaks volumes to their manufacturing flexibility.Someone from the Fisker Discord server was old that the front driver display is going to be bigger. 17" INSTEAD OF 10"!!!
I was wondering the same thing. Wouldn't it get in the way of the AC vents?Interesting though: it does not look like that will fit with the current layout in the dash contour, without being off center anyway. The center screen is 17.1 inches and seems gigantic compared to the driver screen. I can't imagine the driver screen being anywhere near that size lol.it could mean it won't be as thin of a screen. Could be same/slightly larger width but a bit more height in the screen.
That is a really good point. You can see in those interior shots that it has small driver screen. I think the reps at that show perhaps got confused and are quoting the infotainment display specs for the driver screen. Or something.Agreed, not sure how they are going to work it. Seems wild. My thoughts on this is, didn't the latest video of Henrik at Magna facility show the production intent model with the 10" screen? I believe he said these latest production vehicles are intended to be press vehicles and the like so one would think that would be pretty close to the finished product.
Yeah, please do not block my airflow!!😂🔥Two people now were told the same thing.
Right but you couldn't adjust the seat height, which you will be able to on the production model. And it will save your setting using the phone app for what it is worth...Having sat in the Ocean, I can say that, at least at my height, 5.7", it is almost impossible to see the front screen without considerable neck craning, so I would love to see it taller.
Never said it's live.I doubt the driver's display is "functioning" live. Check out a close up. I'm guessing the "Earth" and "0 MPH" are accurate!

I am also in the same camp with the neck craning.Having sat in the Ocean, I can say that, at least at my height, 5.7", it is almost impossible to see the front screen without considerable neck craning, so I would love to see it taller.
That's probably a good idea. I have a anti-fingerprint LCD film on my Model 3 screen. On of the matte antiglare should work well. I bet there will be eBay/Amazon listings within weeks of the car being released.I am also in the same camp with the neck craning.
Time to swap out the steering wheel for a yoke, a la Tesla. 🤣
Jokes aside, it's a surprisingly nice screen...though I think it's a bit too susceptible to glare. I think I would have to put an anti-glare film over it...
