Greetings!

My name is Doug Gault. I live in Fort Worth Texas and just completed my reservation.

I've been looking at all kinds of EV's for a while. I've never been a huge fan of the Tesla styling and am not one to jump on the band wagon for "popular" things.

In my search I've looked at Polestar, BMW, KIA, Cadillac, Volvo, Volkswagen, Mustang and nothing really grabbed me.

Then I randomly came across an article online that just mentioned the Fisker Ocean in passing. After doing some research and watching all-the-things online, I was hooked.

Looking forward to watching the rollout.

Come hell or high water, you're gonna be a Ocean owner!

Did your homework too....that's some mighty competition
Personally, I was enamoured by the Mustang E but chose the Ocean for its ESG beliefs, exterior & interior design, and reasonable pricing strategy

Right now I'm looking at the Ultra. I like the package and don't feel the upgrades that are listed are worth the jump in price to me.

As for color, Ideally I'd like the orange, but I really like the Blue Planet in the Configurator.

I'm not a huge fan of the SeaSalt interior So I think I'd go for BaliBlu.

My last few cars were Black on Black so it's time for a change.. Especially in the TEXAS HEAT!

Yup.. thats home! (for better or worse).

Ya, I always do my homework. Just that kind of type-a personality.

I did like some of the Polestar's features but wasn't wowed by the interior. Felt too much like the Volvo. And if I'm going to get a Volvo, I'm gonna pay for a Volvo, not it's ritzy younger brother.

My other half has his eye on the Caddy, so I'm leaving that for him.

Like you, I like the ESG beliefs of Fisker and love the designs, so until I get evidence to dissuade me, I'm hooked!

For those of you who might be gear-heads and not just EV fans, Here is a link to a list of all the cars I've owned over the years.

Yup.. some (including my hubby) would say I have a problem. I think the favorite cars were the Jaguar and the Corvair - for VERY different reasons.

Jaguar was a blast to drive and I blew away a Maserati and an Aston once.. :)

The Corvair was a labor of love. I loved working under the hood and doing interior work to bring it back to life.

But alas, I was foolish and let the Jaguar slip away, and have no more room for a non-daily driver.

That's why all my cars now need to be FUNctional. with the emphases on FUN.
