New photo of Fisker PEAR interior and details to be released by Henrik Fisker this week to show off the “revolutionary” engineering effort by the company.

On the call today, Henrik said he will reveal a new photo and details of the Fisker PEAR later this week. The photo would show off the interior. Henrik said he isn’t sure which photo he will share at this time. However, he plans to give more details about the “revolutionary” engineering effort. The details will be focused on the marvel of the PEAR interior.

What do you think the Fisker EV interior will look like?

"Fisker PEAR ‘s interior will offer a new level of storage for its segment. Design-wise, the beltline and side window area are extremely low, with a large,wraparound windscreen affording a commanding view when driving "

@baydreamer Yeah, pretty cool! The PEAR EV will have a Houdini trunk, two batteries and motor configurations. Prototype testing will be at the end of the year in 2022. There are actually a lot of new details!!

@Fiskerati
I could see myself being very interested in this. I like the smaller size, and it seems like Fisker isn't treating this as merely an entry level car, between the range, solar roof, and standard rear motor instead of front. I'm aware that most of what I mentioned won't be on the cheapest version, but I'm fine with that. I'd probably want the Extreme version, assuming the PEAR has the same variants as the Ocean.

All sounds great. But just wondering if someone can help me understand what a Houdini Trunk is? I know who Houdini is but not sure how that translates to naming a type of trunk. :)
Your guess is as good as mine. I suspect that we won't know what that is for sure until next year. I love Fisker's various names though, including giving their cars actual names (I can't stand alphanumeric names).

@baydreamer @ToddH65 The Houdini trunk is a disappearing trunk! Don't you know who The Great Harry Houdini? The PEAR EV trunk doesn't open like a traditional vehicle. It has the illusion of vanishes in the design.

Harry Houdini was a Hungarian-American escape artist, illusionist, and stunt performer, noted for his escape acts. His pseudonym is a reference to his spiritual master, French magician Robert-Houdin. Wikipedia

Maybe anything you put in the Houdini trunk disappears?

Or maybe it just doesn't look like a trunk. What if the entire rear section that looks like a panoramic roof is actually the hatch?

I like how they bring the windshield up a bit past the steering wheel, sort of like what Tesla does.

I just thought of something regarding the interior. With the way the windshield curves up to the roof, where will the sun visors go? If they go where the glass and roof meet, they might be uncomfortably close to the driver. I realize that this is just a teaser photo, but it has me wondering.

If their is no sun visors then they will probably tint the top of the windshield. :unsure:
