Fisker Family......Did I catch your attention??

Let's have some fun and perform our own Fisker Battery Investigation!
The Fiskerati Poll below is to give your personal view of "How large the Fisker Ocean NMC battery will be"

I will give some pertinent information from other competing BEV's in the marketplace.
Please feel free to add your own pertinent information to help others come to a more complete and/or accurate determination.

After compliling this information,
I can definitely conclude that I have NO idea how large the battery is.

Too small is the answer. 350 mile EPA range means 250 or less winter highway range. BTW does the Ocean have battery prewarming like Teslas?
Do you ever stop complaining? Good Lord. The Ocean has best in class range until we get EPA numbers. We don't know if the car will come with preconditioning.

Move to L.A., you will not have to worry about "winter" nor doing over 50 mph on the highway, so "winter highway range" will be closer to 400 miles.

Wow touchy aren’t you. I wasn’t complaining but humorously saying too small no matter what. Also noting real world range. Do you ever stop defending Fisker? He cost taxpayers $139 million in his loan default on the Karma. Why do you think he is god now?

I'm not defending Fisker but your constant negativity is tiring and has no place here. If the range isn't good enough for you, then move on from considering an electric vehicle. They're all going to suffer from the same problems, and nobody wants to constantly keep hearing you blabber about how nothing is good enough.

People learn and grow. What makes you think he's not good now? You keep pushing baseless claims and I'm about tired of it. You think we're not eating the cost for Elon's new Texas factory? How about the Buffalo factory? Oh, don't forget about the Nevada factory. That cost taxpayers $129 BILLION. If you're not interested in providing useful, constructive information to this forum - you can leave.

Getting this thread back on topic - I voted for 85kWh.

Kinda weird that you are here when you clearly prefer Tesla? Also remember Tesla's history???? People here are super excited and can't wait for our Ocean One! Don't spoil our party. ;)

Wow....I relish the contributions to this thread....

However, it appears that we are no closer to ascertaining the answer to the enquiry....
The real F.B.I has agreed to assist in the discovery of this BEV mystery....

In this regard, two world-famous former F.B.I agents have agreed to come out of retirement....
May I present, to the Fisker Family, the following incomparable duo of

Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully
Clothing Eyebrow Eye Organ Human

More math to feed the trolls.

I think it has to be at least 90kWh but likely around 100kWh for three reasons.
-MY is more or less the gold standard for efficiency. 300 EPA range on the performance trim vs 350 on the Ocean. A 17% increase. Ignoring the Ocean's more powerful motors and higher drag coefficient add 17% to the MY 82kWh battery and you get 96kWh.
  • In the Goodwood interview Henrik said largest battery of any vehicles in the segment.
  • I am assuming no Qilin batteries in the Ocean (although in that Goodwood video he did mention having more energy dense batteries so fingers still crossed on that one).

I vote for 84-89kwh but your theory sounds good! I am not sure that Fisker will confirm the battery size of their models as Tesla did

I like your deductive reasoning.
May I add the Silcon Carbide motors will add efficiency to the Fisker Ocean drivetrain

The more collective pressure exerted by the Fisker Family MAY influence their decision
about keeping valuable consumer information under lock & key!
