My .02 but I don't think that's the Ocean's powertrain, judging by the video. But, who knows, Fisker is kind of light on details at this point. I would love to know more about the motors and controls (I'm just a curious engineer). All we know is Magna has been contracted to assemble the cars.

@Jock Mahoney or P. Eng for short,

You may be correct that this EtelligentReach will not debut on the Fisker.

Upon carefully listening to the video presentation, Simon Kaimer, Global Product Management
Team member, states that the Magna system has a Rear wheel disconnect feature which would disqualify the Fisker Ocean.

However, there are four factors stated that would be present on the Fisker Ocean powertrain

1) David Mosley, VP, Powertrain at Fisker, said the innovative Ocean has a "super battery, the very very high capacity battery packed into a small volume."

2) Fisker Ocean has the decoupling rear axle to save energy.

3) Torque Vectoring system to give drivers experience of driving pleasure

4) Silicon Carbide inverters
