Woooo!!! Only 45 mins for me, so definitely will be able to see you all there!

For those of you not from the area and need some tips:

  • Parking is NOT easy. Get there a earlier to find a spot
  • Expect traffic if you're going during peak hours
  • Drive carefully - lots of pedestrians & bicyclists in the area
  • Plenty of brunch spots and cafes
  • Can easily turn this into a date with your SO, family, or just hang out with friends - you'll find a lot of shopping, vintage stuff, food, views of Manhattan, etc.
  • Area is pretty kid friendly too
  • If you prefer the train, take the J train to Marcy Ave
  • Ferry from Manhattan also goes there
  • For Dinner Recs:
  • Need a bathroom? There's a WholeFoods nearby.
OK clearly I went overboard, but you get the idea. Just thought I'd help give some advice where I can.

I just noticed this. I'm an "Extreme" reservation holder (converted) and live in Brooklyn, so I would definitely go, but sadly, will be out of town on vacation 😳 .. Damn! Why didn't they announce the date earlier?!! Whoever makes it over there, PLEASE take lots of photos and post your impressions.

If you are a reservation holder and show them your code, they will let you sit in the car.
If that's the case then I will be there. Anyone know about the parking situation in that area. It should be a little light considering it will be on a Sunday. It's been a while since I've been to NYC but the last few times were on Sundays and traffic was light.
