We gatta temper expectations just a tad. I don’t think that in the history of the automotive industry, I have EVER seen or heard that a manufacturer has given a free item to customers because they placed an order or paid a deposit. Maybe it's just me.

I completely agree it’s not usual but it’s also not unheard of. Nor is it unreasonable to inquire about a gift considering a person put down 5k for a limited edition car sight unseen. It would be a great PR move that keeps the hype up and plays further into the exclusiveness of the Ocean One.Dealerships do that as a way to keep clients coming back. Manufacturers usually don't.
