Letter to Henrik Fisker,

"Dear Henrik, I'm a concerned Oceanforum Member
who has witnessed the SLOW introduction of
the Fisker Ocean to the general buying pubilic.

It almost seems like Chinese WaterTorture......
with drip, drip, drip of valuable tidbits of information.

However, NOW IS THE TIME!
The time to confront the negative information,
such as the Bloomberg news article, which denigrates the Fisker Ocean Launch

Please, Henrik,
Now is the time to get ahead of this narrative.....
better to be pro-active rather than reactive to Bloomberg.

I strongly recommend, I implore you, to finally release the Fisker Ocean ONE
to the greater Journalistic World for some real-life, real tire-ticking, real stories
of the Fisker Ocean ONE

I have compiled a group of TEN worthy and proven to be independent Car Reviewers
who could collectively properly assess the attributes, both positive and negative of the Ocean ONE

NOW IS THE TIME!
Allow these Journalistic Hounds....
to snoop around and discover the nuggets of goodness in the Ocean ONE.....
to salivate over the Ocean recyclable upholstery.....
to navigate the esses of the local roads......
to lay black patches across the tarmac of a closed road....
to open and shut all the doors, trunk, windows.....
to gauge the sound quality of the HyperSound System....
to play with the haptic touch buttons of the swivable touch screen....

The Oceanforum World now know and love the wonderful attributes of the Fisker Ocean ONE

468 HorsePower, 707 km/440 mile range, 0-60 mph 3.8 sec, 5365 lbs/2439 kg, 56.7 cu ft/ 918 litres total cargo

So, Henrik, it's time to walk the plank....
Take a chance on the INDEPENDENT car reviewers.....
Let the WHOLE Car buying public REALLY get independent and unbiased reviews on the Fisker Ocean
Let's take a chance....
Follow the 80/20 Rule....
8 out of 10 will LOVE the Fisker Ocean or
2 out of 10 will LOVE IT!

Oceanforum Members,

My Post Script comment

Let Bjørn Nyland measure the Banana Box capacity.
Everyone needs to go to the Farmers Market at some time in their lives
So curious where the Fisker Ocean would fall in this important tally!

I dreamt of a Facebook post with Jack Scarlett and Henrik doing interviews and talks out in the Nordics with a production Fisker Ocean and had hoped that there was a high possibility that Fully Charged potentially already had one in post-production. I was also hoping that the hat being placed on the ole boy over here combined with their editing schedule might only delay it to the end of this month. Then I woke up..

I would personally like ThrottleHouse and Kyle Connor from Out of Spec to get thrown into the hat for reviewing, especially given his latest comments on Inside EV's Ep 162.. them and Alex from LTT as I really enjoy their reviews, especially if they have their Labs team getting involved with testing the sound staging.

Welcome to the Oceanforum @Qbert
You could have a Marketing position with Fisker Inc in scouting Film Location!

The Kyle suggestion will earn you some vitriolic opprobrium, I am afraid. There are a number of folks on here who really, really dislike him. Personally, I would also like to see him drive the Ocean (especially since he loves Magna so I think he will be generally biased in favor, which FSR needs right now).
We don't want bias, we want accurate.
Kyle made the "plastic door handle" famous from a later, unrelated video while the question about that was never asked of the rep while he had them.
Kyle never gave the rep the opportunity to clarify why the mules had plastic handles.
Bias is not a requisite.
Thomas and James from Throttle House, Alex on Autos (or whatever his EV channel is) would be good too.
Savagegeese or Sarah N Tuned for tech and Motormouth as they are the voice of the mainstream.

25 VOTE TALLY RESULTS (May 13/23)
----------------------------
# 1. Doug DeMuro (USA)...................................14/25 (56%)
#2. CARWOW (UK) ...........................................10/25 (40%)
#3. Oceanforum Committee (10)......................9/25 (36%)
#4. The Straight Pipes (CDN)............................6/25 (24%)

Conclusion,
Dear Henrik, the Oceanforum members have voted to have FOUR independent Car Reviewers cast their critical eye on the Fisker Ocean ONE
Logistically, it would be best to ship four Ocean ONEs to four unique Fisker Lounges..namely

1) Los Angeles Fisker Lounge (Doug DeMuro is in San Diego)
2) London, UK Fisker Lounge (CARWOW is London based)
3) NYC or Miami Fisker Lounge (Oceanforum members can drive/fly)
4) Toronto Fisker Lounge (The Straight Pipes are Toronto based)

I would expect these FOUR Fisker Lounges to be open-to-the-public by September 2023

#5) Bjørn Nyland Banana Box Test (Norway based)

Bjørn can drive/fly to Fisker Lounges in Oslo, Norway or Copenhagen, Denmark
to measure for Banana Box Results
Too late to nominate myself?
I’ll test the shizit out of that thing with my real world drives between Seattle and Portland, long range from Seattle to Boise (500 miles and 3 mountain passes) and just plain stop and go torture driving from my house to downtown Seattle (Go #Kraken) and back (50 miles).
You know me, i wont hold back…
