I think we previously and definitively established that Fisker charges ~$1k more for matte paint, for standard metallic/gloss they are above market by ~$500 - $700 and that they are above market for speciality multilayer (solar orange). This data just consistent with previous findings: $3,000 for ultra red, $4,500 for solar orange.

Fisker has Red Planet listed at $1,500.
As I understand it (and HF said this some time ago) Red planet is a standard metallic not a multilayered paint like marine layer, solar orange. Ultra red is also one of those multi-layer paints.

Google is your friend for this (you will be able to find hours of reading material). The paint issues have improved; it was worst at Fremont but the other factories are better. Avoid black at all costs unless you plan on getting an immediate wrap or ceramic coating.
I have a 2018 Black. Was fine. I did spend the few hundred when it first came to get a good ceramic coating. Has held up very well. Need to get it redone but overall good as any of my last three black vehicles from various manufacturers.
