Google is your friend for this (you will be able to find hours of reading material). The paint issues have improved; it was worst at Fremont but the other factories are better. Avoid black at all costs unless you plan on getting an immediate wrap or ceramic coating.
I google and found one instance, not a whole movement of millions. Just crazy how Tesla can't build cars properly and have terrible paint , yet are the best in the business selling EVs. Imagine what they could do if the fixed build quality and paint? WOW

We admire your dedication to the brand, but your refusal to see (or admit) it ain’t all unicorns and rainbows gets tiring..

Tesla is NOT the only kid on the block anymore! More and more EV cars out there. More and more EV companies. They might have had a "head start" but now they got more and more competition! ;)

every manufacturer has customers with issues
I've bought 2 teslas and neither had an issue with paint. I got 4 friends with Teslas and neither of them had an issue with paint. don't think its that widespread. and even if it is/was, it clearly hasn't stopped people from buying Teslas. Nothing has

Sure, competition is good. I'm sticking with Teslas because they are NOW. The Ocean and Lyric and Blaser EV etc, are just the future. I'm more than happy to switch from Tesla once a better product ACTUALLY hits the streets. I reallly would like to have a Faraday Future FF 91 but like the Ocean, its just a good car on paper.....

Hmm, I suppose people could say Tesla has many issues in real life. Maybe on paper too??

I mean, if you google hard enough, every manufacturer has some issues:

Guess Hyundai going out of business
We knew you could figure out the google machine if you put more effort.
I missed anyone here saying Tesla is going out of business.
Now google "strawman". The More You Know.

Had to search "hard" enough to find that yet with Tesla it was way too easy!  Thanks for pointing that out for us.

I'm going to ignore the fire I accidentally lit and walk away. Seems everyone covered it from both sides.

I do remember reading about the gray paint peeling off of the Ioniq5 trim very early. Related to that, their matte gray is pretty nice. Someone in my neighborhood has one. I don't think they brought that matte gold to NA though. It looked pretty sharp too in pictures.
