What material covers the seat? It’s tough to tell from pictures and videos. I know parts are vegan leather but is the main section permeable? If I spill something, would I be able to wipe it off or would the seat absorb if?

Some seat options are fully polyurethane (optional) and others have a polyurethane with fabric inserts (standard). I'm guessing the fully polyurethane option will be more water resistant.

Recycled material is used for fabric. It's really interesting, with several YT videos on it. I dislike leather, leather is old and outdated.

This is speculation, but it looks like you'll be able to machine wash the seat covers.
