"The Fisker PEAR will have the first-ever Fisker Houdini trunk, an alternative to traditional rear cargo hatches. Intended for a metropolitan lifestyle, Fisker PEAR ‘s interior will offer a new level of storage for its segment. Design-wise, the beltline and side window area are extremely low, with a large, wraparound windscreen affording a commanding view when driving. The Fisker PEAR will be available in rear-wheel-drive (single motor) and all-wheel-drive (dual motor) configurations featuring four levels of option packages.

The Fisker PEAR offers two battery packs, with the larger Hyper Range pack targeted at over 310 miles and like the Fisker Ocean, will feature the Fisker SolarSky panoramic roof, adding emissions-free range to the battery.

This is starting to sound VERY tempting. I prefer the PEAR's smaller than the Ocean size, and 310 miles of range is fine for me.

I actually made reservations for both the Ocean and the PEAR, one right after the other. I figured I would wait as more details on both vehicles are released to see what one may better suit me. Although I love the aesthetics and features of the Ocean, I may be able to buy more PEAR with my money for nearly the same range.

I owned a '19 Kona EV before the main traction battery failed and the company bought it back from me. Right now, we're in a compromise vehicle for my wife - a '21 Toyota RAV4 Prime that we charge up a few times a week for her work commute. I am looking forward to getting back to a full EV sometime in 2024.
