In all information that I read or watched in the past year I was missing a good view on the trunk space. Has anyone gained relevant insight?
Welcome to the forum @radioactiveman! You can see the trunk at 2:20 mark when Henrik Fisker pops out of the back lol.In all information that I read or watched in the past year I was missing a good view on the trunk space. Has anyone gained relevant insight?
I believe you, but honestly - it seems a little strange to me. I mean what do you think, watching the photos the trunk looks quite OK, standard, mid-size. Comparable to let's say Audi Q5, BMW X3 or (what I own) Ford Kuga. There's 20 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats with the parcel shelf in place, which seems a bit small to us.
With the shelf removed, luggage space goes up to 25 cubic feet, and with the rear seat folded, there's 45 cubic feet of cargo room.
That latter number is down significantly compared to what Tesla claims for the Model Y EV (66 cubic feet), as well as more conventional competitors like the BMW X1 (58.7).

But the numbers stated do not say so. I did not see a Tesla Y trunk live but the form of the back already kept me away from diving into it. Can't offer that much space.....
So where is the mistake?
@JayMaybe a dead topic by now, but there is a pretty good view of the cargo space (which seems adequate to me) towards the end of this short video from Vegas:
