Just in case anyone from Fisker reads this forum. :sneaky: Both of my hopes involve headlights. The first would be that they're curve adaptive. The second would be what I think are just called adaptive headlights. They're not legal in the US yet, but will be in the next couple of years. In case you haven't heard of them, they stay on high beam normally, but if a car is approaching or in front of you, they only turn off enough pixels to not blind the driver. This is different from cars that automatically switch to low beam when there are drivers nearby. The Ocean's headlights are so narrow that I doubt that it has them. Certain cars already have the hardware installed, and will be upgraded via an OTA update when they're legal.

I can only agree on the headlights. Adaptive matrix LEDs. We have had them for quite some years here in Europe, espicially from the German premium brands. Once you've had them!
And better yet is the digital matrix LEDs (
) TSLA go h..

I also would like to see a rear seat pass-through for skies, wireless CarPlay/AA, roof rack

Everything I've read says that they're WAY better than conventional headlights. That could be a dealbreaker for me if the Ocean doesn't have them. I'll see. I'm not looking to buy anything for probably at least a couple of years.

Still hoping for front heated seats on Ultra so I can keep my reservation....rear/steering wheel/wiper all unnecessary, but front seats a "must". Also, want a complete shade to 100% block sunroof (although I guess I could apply strong tint). Don't care about "California" mode...always use HVAC with windows closed, and dog is always properly restrained, so no heads out windows. Very much want to have untethered preconditioning to cool cabin when parked when out/shopping as there are no cooled seats.

@g.valkaer @baydreamer,

The digital LED headlamps look and work great!
Methinks, no go for the Fisker Ocean models considering its price point.

Fisker Ocean Press Kit only states LED headlights & taillights
plus the Auto High Beam function
The Extreme/One Oceans also get a sequential exterior lighting
(Whatever that means)

@Sportstick
I hope to have an optional "Winter Mode" package with, t least, front Heated seats

I hear you about the price point, but I believe that the Polestar 2 has the hardware and just needs an OTA update to make them functional. That's only an issue in the US. Most other countries don't have an issue with adaptive matrix lights. I bring up Polestar because there's some price overlap, although I don't believe that it's the digital headlights like Audi. I'd be happy if Fisker made them available as an option.

My Volvo has heated front seats, and I really like them. No heated steering wheel unfortunately. I'd love to have that. too.

Matrix/selective headlights have been a common feature in Europe for years, so I can tell you its awesome and works really well. I have driven Audi and Mercedes cars with matrix-lights and its much better and more reliable than auto-beam (which always seems to work just a little too slow).
Having this feature in the Ocean would be great, but I would not bet on it given the price-point and the fact that its not legal in the U.S. yet.
My second wish would be a frunk. Sigh

@Dentino
TWO strikes!
I agree no Matrix LED headlamps
and no frunk (to cut costs)

P.S. Thx for Country vote (I presume)

Matrix lights will FINALLY be legal in the US in the next couple of years. When I look at the Ocean, I wonder if the headlight openings are too slim for matrix. The cars I've seen with them have larger headlights. That might mean that the Ocean would need a redesign. Every time I read how great they are, I wonder if I should look at cars more seriously that have or will have them. I'm not buying anytime soon.

Frunk would have been nice, and the matrix headlights sound good but neither are deal-breakers for us as are the heated seats on Ultra! I'd sure like to know about this soon/NOW so I can stop looking at competitors. Genesis GV70 heated front seats are standard and the second row heat shows up in the middle model. The EV version is on the way. I'd be glad to give up "California Mode" in exchange.

I'll just say that I hope that people from Fisker read forums like this and the ones on Facebook. I would guess that they do.

wish: rear window wiper. Seeing what problems the lack of such is causing for the Ioniq 5 owners, I just hope the ocean is going to have some sort of rear wiper. Although I guess the movable rear window makes it technically difficult.

Someone (not me) on the Fisker Facebook page shared this screenshot. I am very close to canceling/getting a refund if this isn't corrected soon. Heated front seats are non-negotiable, but I'm not spending another $20k to get them over Ultra.

I saw that earlier. He pointed out that he's from Denmark where the winters are long. Hopefully things evolve in regards to equipment as time goes on. The main reason that I'm interested in the Extreme over the Ultra is because it has the fully functional digital radar and not just some of the features.
