Where do you service these things?

Has Fisker announced proposed/in construction locations for service centers?
Definitely interested in an Ocean, but won't do it if there isn't a repair place localish.
I am near Boston

Woof! I'm out!

See this thread:
Fisker has an MOI with Cox, to use Pivet for servicing.

Are all these 2-post folks trolls or people with real interest?
A lot of the information they ask for in their 1st or 2nd post is readily available or just a forum search away.

I have only posted twice, but I've reserved my Ocean One (within ten minutes of the email!).

Sorry man, not a troll. We all start out w/ zero posts. Very serious about an EV, the ocean looks really cool! Not going to throw down hard earned money w/ no real plan to service the cars in place.

For all we know plans are being made or have been made. More info to be released as we get closer to October/November.

I thought you were out? 😆
The majority of us aren't throwing down hard-earned money either. At the moment, only those that want the ONE have to throw down money. The rest of us are waiting and also waiting for some of these same questions to be answered. Standing on the sidelines, but not out ;)

I think the thing that confuses us about posts like these is the fact that since reservations were anounced to this moment, the goal posts set by Fisker have been firmly planted while posts like these imply otherwise.
Listen man, everybody second guesses themselves and wants to know if they are doing the right thing since I would guess that none of us have found a money tree.
I'm glad for forums like these so we can kick stuff around with each other, but let's remain on Earth one.

All the best.

Time to move on or someone might accuse you of being a troll again. 😂

The majority of them are but not all of them. They'll come in and without knowing ANYTHING else about the car, make a big deal out of a topic that we've recently spoken and members feel strong about so forum members get riled up.

We're a growing community so it's expected. :)

Introducing Pivet: Cox Automotive Mobility Group Unveils New Brand for Industry-First Mobility Fleet Services Network - Cox Automotive Inc. (coxautoinc.com)

THANK YOU. I just found out about this! No sure how many locations they have but if they're partnered with Cox, this might be the answer to our question.

Thanks, @Misanoblue & @HotIce. Super useful to have it spelled out like that. Based on what I can tell about the arrangement, here's a map that helps make it more explicit for the US: Service Centers

In other words, people like me in the Mountain time zone better not need an in-person service center. Hopefully the mobile providers can handle most everything. More learning as we go...

From the link that @Jay posted, but looks like there is still a lot of work to do but that's a lot of service points. Fantastic find, Jay.

A Fisker is good if you are in their market target. Otherwise, very risky since no service nearby. Also what is status of accident repair parts? Fisker is really at least a year away from becoming a functional car company. If the Ocean One is a non-essential car, go for it. But for most it isn’t and thus why it won’t sell out immediately.
Calling people trolls is just what fanatic Tesla supporters do. Apparently Fisker people have the same personality.

Hopefully this is just the start. Atlanta (400 miles) would be the closest service center to me. However, it will not affect my decision to have the Ocean as my main vehicle. I do have an ICE as a backup. Not to be classist, but I bet most people that can afford the Ocean One have multiple vehicles.

Does anything think it is possible Fisker will have contracts with multiple companies for service?

I'm going to explain this for a third time. Fisker is a startup. They need time to build out all of the parts of the business. Every startup has to go through this growing phase. Rivian and Lucid are in the same boat.

Fisker isn't the first and won't be the last automotive brand to go through this. When has an automotive manufacturer EVER in the history of automobiles come out and announced the availability of accident repair parts when they've launched a vehicle? If you're going to try and be critical of something, can you be critical of something sensible? I swear, if this was another automotive brand, you know the one I'm talking about, people wouldn't question a thing.

Calling people trolls is just what fanatic Tesla supporters do. Apparently Fisker people have the same personality.
You mean, human? Humans all of the same tendency because gasp they are human. I'm not going to discredit anyone calling someone a troll if criteria fits. A simple search of the forum would have very easily answered the question at had.

I absolutely think it's possible that Fisker has multiple partnerships. We'll know more in October, but it wouldn't suprise me.

And I’ll explain for the second time - buy Fisker Ocean One if you don’t need an operational car. Otherwise as a STARTUP a Fisker is an iffy purchase. As are Rivian and Lucid but less so because they are built in USA.
