Me and my husband play a lot of boardgames while waiting for our Fisker Ocean One or….. ?
To keep up the good spirit, we play for some nice wins! And I won the rights to choose colour and interior.
Now he is really worried, and I enjoy my position🤭
I would love orange, but I`d rather have our Fisker Ocean NOW and settle with the Silver Lining, than wait untill 2023. And Henrik, when you read this, you know my choice and can start breathing again 😂 / All power to your wife 😘

Fisker Inc has lurkers in the Oceanforums board!
Your wishes have been directed to Henrik Fisker and his Magna Team in Austria

“Silver Lining” exterior colour is underneath the 75 camouflaged Fisker Ocean prototypes ….
you MAY choose one of these…..
or wait for 2023 and get YOUR magnificent Solar Orange!

Not under all of the 75 Blu. The Ocean he is ripping on the test track a few weeks ago is red. Every time he gets in and out we see that beautiful bright red inside the doors.

Nothing else but black! Unless they make sea salt with the orange contrast instead of the blue one🤩 View attachment 710 View attachment 710
I'm hoping that once Solar Orange is available, Fisker will make a Sea Salt interior with a matching stripe. I can't imagine a blue stripe with an orange exterior. I really want the Sea Salt interior because I need the color contrast.

The black only current solution rules it out for me. Can't do black when it can be 110-120F outside in the summer. From an aesthetics point, not sure I want a Halloween Pumpkin car all year long that feels like a cave inside, but the real deal-breaker is the heat.

Just having this one white/gray with blue stripe and then all the other interiors are so "cold" and dark is a very Euro-centric design philosophy. The studio needs to broaden their view to better understand the North American market. They are still missing an entire interior color family without a light natural tone to work with the orange, red, green, and tan exteriors coming.

I think they may find the take rate for the 4 new 2023 earth tone exteriors may not live up to projections due to lack of coordinating, non-black interiors. Certainly, some will accept a black interior, but the overall rate won't be what might have been expected, especially if planned by a designer not sensitive to the US market. After many decades in the US, look what BMW has figured out. Even allowing for Fisker's smart strategy for material selection and complexity reduction for a new product (makes good sense), note the color array philosophy in the comparable X3 model. Light-to-dark, cold-to-warm.These may not be the perfect harmony colors for the Fisker pallette, but the strategy should be informative.

@Sportstick&would prefer a neutral colored interior as well with a green exterior.

If nothing changes what will you do on order day? Change exterior color or cancel?
Depends how much I like an alternative vehicle at decision time. The psychology is that I can easily get another dull silver and match the Sea Salt, try a light blue exterior with Sea Salt, but, I have to work with Sea Salt as the only choice (hope it doesn't get dirtly easily or is easy to clean) and I wind up investing in a car that already feels second choice and compromised from the start, even for something as non-essential as color, versus getting what I really want elsewhere. More info needed...still don't even know if Ocean will support SiriusXM radio..apparently a "state secret" at Fisker.

Correct, BMW has a good range of colors that can be matched with the exterior colors. Of course the Sensatec which is a synthetic leather is the only one possible for Fisker because the most ecological.
Potential matches:
InteriorExterior
Beige/Tan White, Dark Blue, Black, Orange, Red, Green
Red White, Black, Silver
Black White, Blue, Dark Blue, Black, Orange, Red, Green, Silver

Of course it's a matter of taste

Yes, I am not suggesting leather nor Sensatec materials. The display I posted is completely about color array and harmony with exterior choices. BMW (among others) recognize a breadth that the Fisker Color Studio does not with two dark values (blue hue and black) and then jumping to grey/white with a blue stripe without ever including any warm spectrum hue alternative or balancing the choices with more light values. While any individual choice is a matter of personal preference and taste, developing a dynamic array of interior/exterior coordination within material and complexity objectives is a matter of strategy and planning to keep demand at 1+ over plant capacity. I cannot explain the rationale behind what I see being offered. Your plan is more market-attuned than the current Ocean plan.

To your chart, one can add (and it is already commercially available elsewhere) the red exterior to your red interior, assuming proper harmony. See the Audi ETron offering in the image.

I'm betting you can find an auto upholsterer that will change the blue trim on the Sea Salt. It's such a tiny strip that shouldn't be hard to change. To me, I don't care. But if it did, I could mask off the seat areas and use cloth spray paint on the blue and change it to any other color. I know cars can be personal, but I doubt many people will make a big deal about Sea Salt. But I do agree that if production was limited to three colors (most non-German cars are around three choices), Fisker should skip Maliblu and go with the suggested neutral medium brown. I think a little darker than a beige or tan so it doesn't look too much like Sea Salt.

As far as black, I'm fine with that. It will be the most chosen interior color on the Ocean. When I lived in Flordia, all my cars had black interiors. Just use the HVAC preconditioning or park in a garage.

Yes they should get:
-Beige = Sea Salt
-Tan
-Brown
-Burgundy (red)
-Black
With all those it will be easier to all of us to match our preference :)

Brown and Burgundy? Lol while it is no skin off my nose if those are color options, that just seems a little dated no? If these options = cost to Magna/Fisker, they will probably not deviate from what they announced so far, honestly.

All I can think of is this:

I think we had a Chevy with that color interior in the mid 80s!
