What do you think of the lack of popping colors?

  • Get over it

  • Yeah it would be nice to have some bright choices

  • Bright choices look juvenile on snobby launch editions of anything

  • I would highly love some bright colors to choose from if available!

I have to admit, I wish I could get a more deep vivid blue or really popping color with the launch edition. Blue Planet is the brightest of the bunch so that’s the route I took.

That being said, if there was a red, especially metallic deep red, I would have jumped on that. Deep red and big black wheels are my favorite. I know some really like the Solar Orange color that will be offered in the next round. I really like that color too (but only on the Ocean). However I have three orange guitars and while I love them my wife seems to hate that color so there is that….

Curious what others think. Why all the lower key colors at launch? Inquiring minds want to know 🧠

They could definitely use more color options. Blues are well represented though (although wouldn't mind the BMW Yas Marina Blue option). I would have liked the Solar Orange for the One but maybe it's good it's not availbale as not sure how I would like it after a few years.

My other (keeper) car in BMW Valencia Orange is 8 years old and just as enjoyable to look at as on day one. Good colors are timeless.

We would love the solar orange, and this is the hardest for me not to get, going with the ONE.

Unfortunately, if you can’t accept black due to a hot climate or don’t want a Halloween pumpkin look, there is no other interior that works.
Solar Orange and MaliBlu for the Fisker corporate colors!

It seems the brighter colors are for 2023. Of the original choices, Blue Planet seems popping.

From my own experience with automotive detailing and some friends that have done paint and body work all their lives, this is probably a money saving issue. Most of the currently offered colors will probably be able to share the same primer color in addition to some of the other paint prep steps. When you start getting into other colors that 'pop' you start having to change the primer. This would require more time on the line and a longer production time per car. You also have to have better body work with some colors as well. That would require a lot of post painting effort to ensure that the final finish is up to expectations. Just my thoughts.
