I don’t notice any changes…regular vs plus interior is still wrong on ultra and sport. Roof on ultra hasn’t changed. This is on the app, haven’t tried desktop.

 

I'm on desktop. The F6 wheels have been added for the One, I know that much.

The new configurator now shows dual Taco Trays, one for driver and the front passenger. It is very cool, I really like this final configuration.

 

That was there on the original configurator. I wouldn't be surprised if that is a mistake as well (no need to have two trays on the passenger side). If there are actually two, I will likely remove the passenger side one for more access to the center storage bin.

 

Asked about the Ultra Roof. The Radgiver said the configurator is incorrect and the roof hasn't changed to a smaller opening. CA mode is a big selling point for me.

 

Umm so what did they actually fix? Interiors still look off as well as the Ultra roof.

 

Silver lining paint still looks flat gray. Packages and prices are all the same.

 

Bummed about the gray tint still there on the colors. Would love to see a better representation of each color.

 

Glad to have it back online. Still doesn’t save packages that I’ve added to the Ultra config.

 

I say back in the oven for a few more days of cooking!

 

Never has worked and still doesn’t on my iPad. That being said, the message I get when I try and select the configurator is:
“Looks like you're trying to configure your Fisker Ocean using a mobile device. To maximize your experience, please utilize our 3D configurator on desktop”

I haven’t tried my Surface yet. The moment I tried last week was the exact time they took it offline…. Not sure if I want to chance it and screw you guys over again…. 🎲🎲

 

A couple things I noticed. 1) I used to be able to operate the doors and mirrors etc. similar to the extreme in the other trims. Those options are gone.
2) it seems zippier and smoother to operate.

I see no big differences. No options added. No roof rack or skibox.

 

One change I noticed, is that the blue graphical pattern inside the stripe going down the seats is now gone. I never liked that detail, so I think that's a great change.

The blue graphical pattern is still there - it's on the Black Abyss Plus (the configurator does have Black Abyss & BA Plus flip flopped though).

 

Is it just me or did the Blue Planet exterior paint choice go away? I swear it was there when I started the session. I checked in a different browser and it wasnʻt there, either. Anyone know of a downstream option choice that would make Blue Planet not available on the One? Thanks...especially if this is user error.

 

I don't see the Blue Planet exterior paint choice either anymore. That is a great color.

 

Is Black Abyss Plus similar to the pleather you get on some mid trim Kia's, Chevrolet, etc? I cannot tell in the configuration tool what the actual feel/touch difference is between standard and plus.

I want to say I paid $895 to get the pleather upgrade on my last vehicle and it then also came with heated seats.

 

Thanks for the confirm, @onevoice. I have to think that's a temporary state and that the BP color choice will come back.

 

No problem, I agree it is a temporary glitch, I'm quite certain the BP is a valid paint choice since we have seen production intent versions of cars with it. There are lots of these kinds of errors currently and it will take the team a while to get rid of all these errors. I'm a retired software developer so I know how hard it is to fix all the many permutations of selections in play. The decision tree involved to account for all these choice can be mind boggling. I can't even imagine the size of test scripts that the team has to go thrrough.

 

One. Blue Planet was available this morning when I opened the configurator (honest!) but it was gone part way through configuratoring. Still not an option for me.

 

I have been in Ocean One trim all this time. So a few minutes ago I clicked on the Extreme trim, and saw the BP color. Then when I switched to the One trim, and the BP color stayed. So obviously there is a glitch in the configurator for this that needs to be fixed.

But, it turns out that ʻResetʻ button comes in handy; it took that for me to get BP as a color choice again. Now back to my originally scheduled dilemma...

I noticed if you have MaliBlu interior selected, you do not see BP as an available color....if you reset then BP reappears. If you choose BP first as your color, then MaliBlu is not available as an interior, just sea salt and black. so its the combo of BP/Maliblu that is the issue.

 

@Marshj_00, I just reported something similar on another thread. I personally want Maliblu more & am just going with Mariana since I think thatʻs what I want more, too. ...but I can confirm exactly what you are seeing.

 

“Errors” I noticed in the Configurator's visual presentation of the Ocean:
1. These white stripes, Ocean letters, and badges can only be on when parked, right?
2. The white lighted handles are only lit when approaching and getting in, right?
3. There is no orange here... except maybe when signaling?
4. There is no orange here... except maybe when turn signaling?
5. There is no orange here... except maybe when turn signaling?
6. This reflector is not this bright...unless signaling!
Agreed? The latest Ocean photos are my reference.

I wish they would show the car the way it will look when parked. I love the light designs, but at least give us an option to turn these all to their non-operating status so we can see how the car will typically look.

As long as I am complaining, why do the colors of the paint look so wrong? I’ve never seen a configurator so far off on colors. sigh I hoped it would be better. I want Fisker to be a HUGE success!

 

Not only that, the SILVER LINING color looks like flat grey. It looked more like silver in the old configurator. How do you spend on a NEW configurator that has LESS accurate photos than the old one? Trying to have faith in this company, but....
